
David Moore, a 7th Grade Science Teacher at St. Clare Walker Middle School, has done a fantastic job coordinating boat trips on the Chesapeake Bay for our students. These experiences enhance students' understanding of the ecosystem and foster a love for the environment.

Today, St. Clare Walker Middle School students experienced the SCW Reality Store. Students were given a career and a family size to take into consideration while shopping for monthly expenses. Volunteers from local community partners worked with students to make financial decisions to help them be successful. Students were shocked to see the costs of essential utilities that took away from their entertainment costs.

SCW soccer played their last home game of the season yesterday. Eighth grade students were recognized and honored their families with flowers.

Attention Parents/Guardians of 8th grade afternoon car riders!
As Sports Complex Road is being repaved, 8th grade students must be picked up in the front loop using the 7th grade pick-up line. You will enter through the front, go left, follow the arrows, and pick up at the art/band room door. Please anticipate this change until Monday.

Students is Ms. Robinson's sixth grade math class started the year with a data cycle unit. Students participated in a data talk, collected their own data, and then created the appropriate graphs to represent the data. Not only did they learn more about one another, they built math skills!








Today, Wednesday, September 4, we have a home soccer game and a home volleyball game. Both games will begin at 5:00 pm. If you are planning to attend the volleyball game, the front doors will open at 4:15 pm. We ask that you leave all bags in your car. We do not charge admission, and once you enter, you may not re-enter.
We also have an away girls' basketball game in Northumberland. Northumberland does charge an entry fee, and tickets must be purchased using the link below. They do not accept cash.

When traveling for away games, please be prepared to pay an entry fee.
As a reminder, students may not stay after school to attend as spectators for athletic events, however, they may return under the supervision of an adult.
