National School Psychology Week
Due to a high wind restriction on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, Chincoteague cannot travel to Middlesex today. The regional game scheduled for this evening at 6:00 PM has been moved to tomorrow, Thursday, 11/2/23, at 6:00 PM at MHS.

Jostens will be at MHS from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM during student lunches on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 to take senior cap and gown orders and junior ring orders. You can also go online at jostens.com and click Middlesex High School to see what is available. Delivery is April 17 and 18, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Chargers of the first quarter this year were selected by faculty and staff at MHS.
Middlesex volleyball will host Colonial Beach Monday, October 30, 2023 at 6:00 PM for the Region 1A quarterfinal game. Tickets are $7, and passes are not accepted for regional games.
Greetings from the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School!
MHS will be having an information session where you can learn more about The Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School for Marine and Environmental Science, how it can benefit your child, and how to apply for admission to the program. CBGS is a half-day program that students apply for in 9th grade and attend for math and science in 10th-12th grades.

Athletics for the Week of October 23-28, 2023
On Tuesday, October 17, 2023 the African-American History class hosted a Joseph Cameron Cook-off and Competition, and faculty/staff and community members were the impartial judges to taste-test the food to decide whose dish was best in five different categories.
Joseph Cameron was the Chief Dietitian of Christ Church School for Boys for 22 years of faithful service during which he fed thousands of Christ Church School boys well on a limited budget (from the inscription on the cover of the 1951 yearbook dedicated to him).
The African-American History class had a handful of his recipes for fried chicken, rolls, potato salad, coleslaw, and corn-on-the-cob. Each student prepared a dish based on his recipe. Students competed to see who could "out-dish" one another in each category.
